This course provides a basic understanding of due diligence and how it works for you and your organization. A discussion of the rights and responsibilities of all employees/employers in the workplace and what they mean. This course provides participants with an overview of the Nova Scotia Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations. Participants will receive the appropriate tools to view safety in the workplace as a continuous practice. The objective of this course is to develop Due Diligence as a workplace standard.

What are the three Rights of Employees?
Establishing and understanding why safe work practices are important
Identifying the difficulties of proving due diligence
Establishing the foundation required to develop a systematic structure to build due diligence as a standard within the workplace

This live streamed, interactive presentation will be held using Zoom. Session will be 2.5-3 hrs in duration with time for Q&A.
