Scooter training and licensing course
Our licensing course is a blended program meaning that there are two components to the course, one being online and the other in person. The course will provide participants the basic skills and confidence you will need in today's traffic environment. The course is a combination of online theory, and practical classroom-based skills that are based on building block principles. The online theory portion discusses staying safe on the street, how to reduce your risks, and prepares you for the practical training. This blended training provides you with the best attributes of online and hands-on training. To pass this course, you must successfully complete both the online written test, and the in-person rider evaluation.
We will supply you with a scooter and give you the knowledge, skills, and confidence you need to get the most from your training experience.
Our instructors are provincially accredited driver examiners and are able to issue a Nova Scotia motorcycle driver’s license upon successful completion of this course.
Students should consider their level of ability when choosing a course. Scooter training can be physically demanding and may not be suitable for all students. If you have any medical problems that will prevent you from pushing a scooter, please call us for further information.
